Characteristics:
Foliage: Evergreen
Exposure: Full sun
Bloom Season: April
Growth HabbitUpright multi-trunked to 30’ x 20’. Mature height is somewhat unpredictable.
Soil Preference: Well drained. .
Notes:
Drought tolerant.

Notes:

Growth Habbit15’ on average. 20’ max height.
Soil Preference: Well drained. .
Notes:
Cold hardy to -10 deg. f. Fruit used to make jelly. Deer resistant.

CARNEGIEA gigantea - Saguaro

Characteristics:
Foliage: Semi-deciduous
Exposure: Full sun
Bloom Season: May - June. Cream color flower
Growth HabbitErect to 40’ (many years to max height)
Soil Preference: Can thrive in poor rocky soil but prefers well- drained soils.
Notes:
Saguaro grows very slow (1” per year). Be prepared to spend high dollar amounts for older specemins.
