Notes:
Low maintenance

Characteristics:
Foliage: Evergreen
Exposure: Full Sun to light shade
Bloom Season: July - September
Growth HabbitUpright shrub to 5’ x 4’.
Soil Preference: Prefers well-drained.
Notes:
Prune old blooms

MAHONIA aquifolium - Oregon Grape

Characteristics:
Foliage: Evergreen
Exposure: Any. Shade in hotter climates.
Bloom Season: March - May. Yellow
Growth HabbitWoody shrub to 6’ x 5’.
Soil Preference: Prefers well-drained.
Notes:
Can become invasive. Spreads by underground stems. ‘Compacta’ and ‘Orange Flame’ are smaller varieties around 2’ - 3’ tall.

Growth Habbit8” ht x 8” wd with no trimming
Soil Preference: Tolorates most soil
Notes:
Can be trimmed into hedge and kept lower to about 4’ if desired.

Characteristics:
Foliage: Evergreen
Exposure: Full Sun to shade
Bloom Season: Aprial-May
Growth HabbitWoody shrub to 12’ x 12. Prune to desired height.Effective plant spacing is 4 to 6’.
Soil Preference: Prefers well-drained.
Notes:
Can be used as a hedge or small specemin tree. Plant tightly for more privacy along a fence line. Toxic of ingested.
